Trainings and workshops are available for students, school staff and administrators, law enforcement, probation, and community agencies working with youth.

Training for adults include:

Engagement Activities Made Easy– This highly interactive workshop is designed to provide educators, counselors, and practitioners with practical tools, strategies, and activities to meaningfully connect with youth. Activities can be used in a classroom, group, or out-of-school time setting.

Don’t Believe the Hype- This workshop gives a glimpse into the world of media and its negative consequences on young girls body image. Sample lessons and activities for addressing this topic in a classroom, support group, and/or forum setting are explored.  This training can be offered in a two or four-hour format.

Operating Through a Trauma-Sensitive Lens– This training offers participants with an in-depth view on the impact trauma can have on student learning and behaviors. Through exploring the contributing factors, this session underscores the various strategies educators and practitioners can use to support those impacted by trauma.

Restorative Practices 101– This training provides participants with a basic understanding of restorative practices and principles. This framework can be applied with schools, non-profits, probation, and law enforcement.

Spotlight on Girls: Critical Issues, Trends, and Strategies- This workshop provides participants with information on the latest research as it pertains to critical issues affecting girls. Information on the increasing violence among females is heavily explored. Participants are provided with resources and specific strategies for dealing with topics such as gangs, relationship violence, body image, alcohol/drug use, and aggressive behavior.

Sugar and Spice- This workshop provides participants with an understanding of female aggression and its connection to other destructive behaviors. Nuts and bolts strategies for counselors, teachers, and community prevention personnel are provided.  This training can be offered in a two or four-hour format.
